WOW, Inuvik - what an incredible day! ❤️
We are absolutely blown away by the amazing turnout at our 50th anniversary celebration.
Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us, shared a meal, joined in the fun and helped make the day so memorable. Serving this community has been an honour for the past 50 years, and today was such a great reminder of why we are so proud to call Inuvik home.
A special thank you to Hawks Supply, Home Hardware and R&M Propane for donating prizes for our giveaways. Thank you to Margaret Gordon for creating the beautiful anniversary cake, to Zoila for spending the day bringing smiles to so many children’s faces with her incredible face painting, to Yvonne and Renz for keeping the celebration lively with wonderful music, and to Mamaqtuq for generously allowing us to use their PA system for the event.
Another special thank you to the Inuvik Fire Department for bringing the splash park and helping create so many smiles for the kids. It was such a fun addition to the celebration, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to be part of our day.
An extra special thank you goes to Dave, Sherry, Karis and Josh Dekwant, with the Lighthouse Church, who brought their barbecues and spent the afternoon cooking every single hamburger and hot dog that was served. Your willingness to serve our community is always incredible. And thank you, Karis, for your generous donation of 250 cupcakes - they were such a wonderful addition to today’s offerings.
Finally, thank you, Inuvik. Your support over the past 50 years has meant everything to our family and our business. We are so grateful to be part of this community and are excited to continue serving you for many years to come. 🎉
