Hey Everyone! 👋

For those who don’t know me, I’m Matt, the owner of Dwell Construction. I come from a family of builders, and I’ve spent the last 25 years turning that foundation into a craft of my own, renovating homes across London and the surrounding area.

One thing I’ve always valued is staying close to the people I work with. When you reach out to Dwell, you’re talking with me. Not a call center, not a ticket number, just a direct, honest conversation with the person who’ll be caring for your home.

We’re growing, and I’m proud of that, but never so big that you can’t reach the person behind the name. That personal connection is what makes a project feel right, and I don’t ever want to lose it.

To me, a home is where family happens, and I treat every project with that same care. When you work with Dwell, you’re treated like family too.

I’ll be sharing more here soon: our projects, a few lessons from the trade, and some behind-the-scenes moments. I’d love for you to follow along.

And if you’re dreaming about a change at home, reach out. You’ll get me, every time. 🏡

Porch season is here! ☀️Our client wanted to refresh her front sitting area on her sweet little home. It was important that it had lots of space, would weather well for years, and would allow her to invite friends, family and especially her grandson to have a space to enjoy the outdoors with her for years to come. It was a labour of love and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! If you are thinking your home is ready for a new outdoor retreat, let’s chat! 💬

Tuesdays are for new projects and a day of demolition. Welcome to our latest project // The Danis Project. We start this one off with demolition of existing cabinetry, bulkhead, and a dividing wall between the kitchen and the entry. The 💡: open up the kitchen, new cabinetry, backsplash, countertop , add a window over the sink, modify an existing closet to gain more kitchen space, new electrical, flooring and paint. A full face lift for this little kitchen is coming up, stay tuned! 🏡

A first glimpse into our twelve week journey of transforming this muskoka townhome into a beautiful new space for our client. This project was a labour of love, as Gay worked alongside us to bring her vision to life. What a gift it is to be able to transform spaces to bring joy, calmness and peace to our clients. 🏠
