Ogilvie Mountain Holdings is proud to recognize employee Jeff Levesque for his safety leadership on the team while completing the Enbridge 8BL2 pipeline project in Hope, BC. Jeff has displayed a team approach to safety while implementing key hazard controls on the project.

To acknowledge Jeff for his safe work performance and great teamwork, OMH has awarded him an introductory training flight with JoinAir Flight Training at Chilliwack Airport, giving him wings for the day.

Aviation adheres to direct controls for high-energy hazards in order to save lives, and this flight training can serve to reinforce the importance of pre-job / pre-flight hazard assessments and consistent implementation of all safety controls to keep us all safe - whether flying a plane or building a pipeline.

Congratulations to Jeff and the entire OMH team for their efforts to work safety and efficiently through to project completion!

Since 2020, OMH has supported students at Shxwelís te Ts'qó:ls - Spirit of Hope Secondary School through annual bursaries.

This year, OMH awarded two $1,000 bursaries to students pursuing trade or vocational pathways. Congratulations to Steven Talarico and Joel Murphy on receiving this year’s bursaries.

For the past four years, OMH has sponsored two bursaries annually. Looking ahead, OMH is expanding the eligibility criteria to include Indigenous students, regardless of their field of study.

Supporting students as they take their next steps matters. Whether that path leads to the trades, further education, or another field of work, local opportunity starts with consistent investment.

Our Northern Winter Digs program near Wrigley, BC, ran at full speed this past season.

Several projects in this northern pipeline integrity program were successfully completed, with the next phase already underway and two additional digs now in progress.

Despite challenging winter conditions, our team delivered safe work in a remote, high-risk environment with multiple crews working at the same time.

May 5 marks Red Dress Day, a national day of awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit people (MMIWG2S+) in Canada.

Inspired by the REDress Project, red dresses serve as a powerful symbol of lives lost and the ongoing call for awareness, respect, and justice.

In recognition of this day, we stand in solidarity with Indigenous communities, remembering those who are missing and those who have been taken.

They are not forgotten.

This week is Construction Safety Week, and it’s the perfect opportunity to focus on the fundamentals that keep us safe on site every day.

Ogilvie Mtn Holdings is powered by its people, and we're pleased to highlight one of our team members: Kurtis Hagen!

Kurtis joined OMH Ogilvie in 2024 as a Foreman on one of our Dig Programs and has quickly made an impact both on and off the job site.

In the field, he brings strong leadership and a steady approach to the work. Outside of it, Kurtis has also been gaining recognition in the music scene, recently featured as February's Artist of the Month on 93.7 JR Country!
