Summer has definitely turned up the heat! ☀️

To make sure every stain job gets the best possible finish, our crew has been starting early and working later into the evening when temperatures are ideal.

On the hottest days, if it’s too warm to safely apply stain and we don’t have another project scheduled for the afternoon, the crew gets a chance to enjoy a few hours taking in the mountains, lakes, and everything that makes Hinton such an incredible place to live.

Those afternoons aren’t the norm—they’re simply the best way to work around the weather while still delivering quality results.

We want to give a huge thank you to our amazing crew. Your willingness to adapt your schedule, put in the early mornings and late evenings, and always take pride in your work is what keeps The MacKenzie’s Contracting moving forward. We truly appreciate everything you do! 👏

P.S. We always respect our neighbours and the Town of Hinton’s noise bylaws. We never begin work before 7:00 AM or work later than 11:00 PM.

We reinforced sections of the existing frame to make the structure stronger and safer, then installed beautiful low-maintenance composite decking and finished it with a sleek new railing system.

The result is a clean, modern outdoor space that’s ready for everything from quiet morning coffees to family BBQs.

We believe a great deck isn’t just about how it looks—it’s about building something safe, durable, and designed for the way you live.

Today it was so awesome to see all the lemonade and iced tea stands set up all around town.

Our crew was lucky enough to stop at quite a few throughout the day, and every single glass was cold, refreshing, and absolutely delicious!

We truly feel grateful and privileged to be part of such a kind, supportive, and thriving community.

Seeing kids out having fun, learning new skills, and neighbours stopping to support them is what small-town life is all about.

For this one, we dug the post holes and set the fence posts in solid concrete footings, giving the homeowners a strong foundation to build the rest of their fence themselves. 💪

🌱 Happy Friday! Nothing beats seeing a lawn transformation come to life!

Our client wanted a smoother, level lawn without removing any existing material, so we brought in 12 yards of quality topsoil, leveled everything out, then seeded and fertilized.

Just a few short weeks later… 🌿 thick, lush green grass and a perfectly level lawn that’s ready for easy mowing!

Sometimes the biggest transformations start with the ground beneath your feet. 👏
