What a beautiful, refreshing rain we had today! I'm sure some people would rather have sunshine but it was dry and it was good for the woods, farmers fields and gardens. It reminds me of a saying that makes a lot of sense. " Let the flowers remind us of why the rain was necessary!" Have a good week everyone!

Spring is here! It's great to see the daffodils and hyacinths blooming! My seedlings are doing well and I hope to move some of them to my Greenhouse in a week or two. I'm excited to use the Greenhouse this year. I had it built last year so this is my first season for it. More pictures to come! Have a great week everyone!

My seed starting has been going well under my grow lights in the basement. Another few weeks I hope to move some of the seedlings out to my greenhouse! Hi all, I realize I haven't posted anything since last Fall. I guess I've been 'hibernating' like a bulb in the garden waiting to start growing in the spring. :) I did try for the first time to 'force' some Tulip bulbs this winter and they just bloomed today. I'm pleased with the outcome. I may have to try some more next winter. I have started lots of flower seeds and will post some pictures of those next week.

I had a request for a late October Birthday bouquet. I wasn't sure if I would have flowers but I was able to do it! Marigolds, statice gomphrena, zinnias, purple asters, snapdragons, sage, mint, sedium and chrysanthemums. I was very pleased with the outcome! Now the frost can come. :) Have a good weekend everyone!
