Enjoying the fall scenery in New Brunswick.

In Canada, New Brunswick records some of the highest percentages of homes with radon levels above the national guideline of 200 Bq/m³.

The only way to know if your house has high radon is to test because radon is an invisible, odorless, and tasteless gas.

The best time to test your home for radon is during the colder heating season (ideally between October and April) using a long-term test that runs for at least 3 to 12 months.

Test kits available. Contact Radon Defence today.

Another home safe from Radon

This home was built after 2010. 2010 was when the building code changed requiring builders to rough-in for Radon. We were able to attach to this pre-installed sub slab system and safely vent the harmful radon gas outside.

Another home made safe from Radon in Carleton County

For this particular home, we had to go through the garage (unconditioned space) and therefore the pipe, in that area, had to be insulated.

This one took a little extra effort to get the communication of air movement under the slab, which was essential to ensure the well being of our customers.
