A little erosion control work going in.

The crew placed rock along this slope to help control runoff, slow down erosion and keep the ground where it belongs.

Nothing fancy, just good prep work that makes a big difference once the rain and spring runoff hit.

Another one getting checked off the fall list. ☑️

Putting the 6-way blade to work on the skid steer.

We’ve been using this setup to fix ROW sediment and get things shaped back up properly. The 6-way blade gives us a lot more control than a standard bucket when it comes to grading and finishing.

Another fall day getting ROW work cleaned up before winter.

10/05/2026

Fall work is in full swing.

A few shots from the last couple weeks. Moving dirt, working on drainage, cleanup and putting a few different pieces of equipment to work along the way.

This time of year is always busy trying to get jobs wrapped up and sites in good shape before winter shows up.

Can’t complain about getting blue-sky days to get it done either. 👌

Not every job is a planned one.

Our crew was called in to help out with a structure fire, using the excavator to assist on site before taking care of the demo and cleanup afterward.

Once the fire was dealt with, we got to work bringing down what was left of the building and cleaning up the debris.

A different kind of day for the Bullhead crew, and a good example of why having the right equipment ready to go matters.

We like new iron as much as anyone, but it’s the person running it that really matters.

Dozers, tractors, discs and excavators all have their place on a job. Knowing which one to use, how to use it and when to change the plan comes down to experience.

Moving dirt, cleaning up a ROW, working ground for reclamation... our operators know their equipment and know how to get the job done.

09/25/2026

There’s a lot more to reclamation than throwing down some seed and calling it a day.

Before anything starts growing, there’s usually a fair bit of work to do. Soil needs to be moved and replaced properly, compacted areas worked up, drainage looked after and the ground prepared so vegetation actually has a chance to take.
It might not be the part of the job that gets the best photos, but it matters.

From the initial cleanup to working the ground and getting it ready for what comes next, we’ve got the equipment and crew to get it done. 🌱

🍂 Fall is here but that doesn't mean things are slowing down!

There’s still plenty to get done before freeze-up, and we’re taking advantage of the good ground conditions while we have them.

Have something you want wrapped up before the snow flies? Give us a call.

Making way for the next phase!

Our excavator has been busy stripping row and getting this site ready for the work ahead.

Good site work starts with proper preparation. Clear it, strip it and build from there.

09/10/2026

Our dozer was out pushing scrapers and working alongside Schuurman’s Earthworks LTD on a recent road build. 🤝

When there’s dirt to move and a road to build, having the right equipment and experienced operators on site makes all the difference.

Bullhead Environmental is proud to work alongside other local contractors to keep projects moving.
