I am blessed. Last Wednesday, I was invited to join my department from my side job (online grocery at Hanover Walmart) when a group of them got together for dinner. What a fun time to be able to get together and visit; we even had a couple of older ladies at the same restaurant lean over as they were leaving and tell us "Whatever you're celebrating, it's wonderful to hear so much laughter and fun!". After our meal, they gave me a lovely card, and then I was given this beautiful quilt, made by one of my co-workers, Geri. It brought me to tears. I have a huge debt of gratitude and an extremely grateful heart for all of the donations, visits, and messages of support. I am in my third week of treatment in Vaughan (going down twice a week). No way to know just yet if anything I've been doing is working, but at this point, I feel really good. I will include the link for the GoFundMe one more time for anyone who is interested. Make time for visits with those who are important to you. Stop at the places you've always wanted to, but never made time for. You never know when lifeay through you a curve ball.
