Re-wild part #3 inviting nature into your yard doesn’t have to be difficult, or expensive. Use some old logs and some shallow dishes as bird baths. Easy peasy.

The line between friend or foe is a tight one. We want to keep beneficial creature’s happy in our garden, but not so much the bad guys. Leaving some plant tidying until spring is a great practice. But keep in mind you may be overwintering an unwelcome visitor. This also includes any leaf disease. Trim it down, bag it, and then clean your tools.

Keep it simple. Use the space you have and keep in mind mature size when planting in a small bed.

Front walkways are the first impression everyone has of your home. Make it pop all year long. Hydrangeas can add winter interest when pruning is left until the spring. Long narrow gardens are best kept simple with 1 or 2 different plants.
