We were contacted by a new client who called in concerned over some stains in the ceiling.

Someone did not set and caulk some face nails and it led to a leak.

The roof is 14 years old - only half way through the life of the shingles.

The roof is the original, installed when the subdivision went up. Word to the wise: when most developers build 100+ homes in a new subdivision they're not hiring the best roofing crew, they're hiring the most affordable.

During our inspection we noticed deficiencies

The fl**ge on the steep pitch was the first suspect. Upon closer inspection, we found nails in the shingle face, the wrong location for nails
If that's not bad enough, they weren't completely set nor were they caulked, as standard procedure.

No wonder the water leaked into the living room - it had a clear path.

To remedy the situation we properly set the nails and caulked them to prevent further interior damage.

Now that the home owners interior is protected again and the roof is temporarily remedied, we have time to discuss and install a new roof; paid for by insurance.

Our goal is to make sure your home is taken care of - inside and out.

When the weather hits your house hard make sure your ready. We are out here taking care of folks who have leaks and blowoffs; helping them get more time out of the roof.
There are a lot of poorly built roofs in the area, and some of them look really good when you look from the ground; Until its too late.

🤑The Costly Mistake of Improper Ventilation — and How We Fixed It🤑

🏡We recently completed a job that’s a great reminder of how critical proper attic ventilation and exhaust venting are to the health of your home.

🏚When we arrived, we discovered extensive mold growth and rotted wood in the attic — all caused by an exhaust vent pipe that had been left disconnected.

💨Instead of venting warm, moist air outside, it was dumping moisture directly into the attic. Over time, this led to thousands of dollars in damage that could have been easily avoided with correct installation.

👌As part of the repair, we not only replaced the damaged wood but also properly connected the vent pipe to ensure all future moisture is vented outdoors — where it belongs.

🌬While the attic was open, we also addressed another common issue: over-stuffed insulation blocking the soffits. Without proper airflow, your attic can’t breathe, leading to condensation, mold, and premature roof deterioration. We cleared the soffit areas to restore proper ventilation, helping protect the home long-term.

✅️The Bottom Line:

Its nice to see some wood that is still in good shape.

Thanks to our lovely customer named Theresa for allowing us to do a good and proper job.

We made sure to consult with her children before any work was completed. We brought her sons down to the house and showed them about the roof, just to be sure.
Even though she assured us she would pay us and it was fine to start right away, we were more concerned that her family and friends new what was happening.

No tricks, gimmicks or small print! We want to take care of your parents, like they're our parents.

We are careful with our older folks in these times, by making sure they get clear communication, a proper professional job and the care they and their homes' deserve after a long life of caring for others.

Would have been nice to have a photo with her in it to post but seniors aren't safe on roofs.

Maybe we can get her to model the finished job, when we go back to for the neighbor's roof soon.

Main Clubhouse at Pros Golf Center. We had a great time working for these lovely people.
They are open 7 days a week all day so we had to work with golfers hitting balls all day long.
