This October, during Women's History Month, we pause to spotlight
the women who lead and build at WDI GROUP.
Our project managers and trades leads don't plan from the office
down the hall. They walk the floor — sometimes before the coffee
is on, sometimes long after the trades have clocked out. They read
the drawings upside down. They make the call when the existing
wall turns out different than the as-built. They carry the schedule
because they built it.
Inside our office-interior remodels across North America, women
at WDI lead the kind of work that rarely makes a cover photo: the
carefully-phased move-out that keeps the client's team running;
the midnight decision around a loading dock; the trades stand-up
where the brief is re-shaped in five minutes flat.
To every woman on our sites, in our estimating rooms, on our
project-management calls, and in our design studios across
Ancaster, Rochester, and Orlando — thank you for the craft,
the rigour, and the example.
