10 more cats and offspring of stray cats are off to be spayed/neutered today

Special thank you to our wonderful set of drivers who paired up today, one doing pick up in Lucknow and taking them to admit at KWHS for 830 a.m.
The other doing pick up at KWHS at discharge and bringing back to Lucknow

It is is 2 male kitten born last summer,
It is a mom and 3 female kittens,
It is a female kitten found in a dumpster,
It is a stray male who showed up at a farm,
It is a stray female discarded at a farm
And yet another stray female, from a farm

They are from all over the place

Thankfully they won't be caught up in the overpopulation cycle, and the males won't be as apt to spray to mark territory, kill kittens to make the female go in to heat, fight, wander, etc

Please look in to trap, neuter, release programs if you have barn cats or have had stray cats dropped off

There are affordable alternatives to have them spayed/neutered

Trap, neuter, return is the answer for ferals and strays

Spay/neuter is the answer for owned

Being prepared to care for a pet for their entire lifetime before obtaining a pet is the answer to stop owner surrenders

Do not dump your pets

Surely everyone is seeing what rescues are seeing - things are worse than ever

This was avoidable

So glad to be a part of this job! My part of the shop has been completed. (My front facing camera wouldn't work). More pictures to follow.

Also if you don't already follow these guys do great work! And they're great people. 11/10 would recommend 🙌🙌🙌
