Rainbow’s End receives Ontario Trillium grant to improve the versatility and scope of of its landscaping social enterprise, Mow-Town
Rainbow’s End has received a grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) to modernize our landscaping fleet!
With this provincial investment, we are officially retiring our oldest vehicle, a trusty 2008 Dodge Ram, that has served us well for nearly two decades. In its place, we are purchasing a modern, highly adaptable landscaping vehicle.
This upgrade is important for our Mow-Town social enterprise. The new truck gives us the safety, power, and versatility needed to tackle heavy construction projects and rigorous winter snow clearing.
Most importantly, it allows us to continue our mission: training and employing local individuals living with mental illness, and equipping them with the modern skills they need for rewarding careers in landscaping and construction.
A huge thank you to the Ontario Trillium Foundation for investing in our team, breaking down employment barriers, and helping us build a more inclusive community in the Hamilton and Burlington area
