The best ideas often come from getting the right people in the same room.
Last week, the DKI - Halifax team had the opportunity to attend DKI Canada EVOLVE 2026 in Toronto, connecting with restoration professionals, industry experts, and vendor partners from across the country.
The conference delivered three days of fresh perspectives, meaningful discussions, and practical insights that will help us continue raising the bar for our clients and communities here in Atlantic Canada.
We were also incredibly proud to be recognized with the Atlantic Region Active Advocate Award for the second consecutive year.
This award recognizes Members who are strong supporters of DKI and consistently go above and beyond to drive positive change and innovation. It celebrates those who actively champion DKI's brand values and mission, contribute ideas that strengthen the network, and help create meaningful operational improvements across the Membership.
Receiving this recognition for a second straight year is a testament to the dedication of our entire team and their commitment to supporting not only our own business, but the continued success of the DKI Canada network as a whole.
One of the most memorable moments of the conference was celebrating a milestone that extends far beyond our industry. Together, the DKI Canada network has now surpassed $1 million in donations to Ronald McDonald House Canada through the Bringing Families Home Campaign. It is an incredible achievement that reflects the generosity and commitment of Members, partners, and supporters across the country.
A sincere thank you to DKI Canada for hosting another exceptional event and to everyone who contributed to making EVOLVE 2026 such a success. We are proud to be part of a network that is focused on innovation, collaboration, and making a meaningful impact both inside and outside of our industry.
