We at Falkenham's pass on our condolences to the family and friends of Kevin Shaw.
Kevin was with us since 2000, a long time to share a work site in a small family business. Everyone who met Kevin will remember him, he was someone who always got the job done, and our job sites will never be the same without him.

Kevin Robert Shaw Obituary
Shaw, Kevin R. – 56, Enfield. It is with heavy hearts, we announce that Kevin, born in Truro, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 56, surrounded by the love of family.
He was the beloved son of Juanita (Sponagle) and Robert “Bobby” Shaw.
Kevin was a devoted husband to his wife, Karen (MacAskill), and a proud and loving father to his two sons, Jordan (Josi) and Zachery. Family was the centre of his world and his greatest source of joy. He was absolutely thrilled when Jordan and Josi shared the news that they were expecting and could hardly contain himself as he spread the word to everyone around him, his heart swelling with pride at the thought of becoming a Papa for the very first time.
Kevin took great pride in spending time with his family at any chance he got. He had a deep love for Goldboro, a place close to his heart from his youth that he continued to cherish throughout his life, often returning to enjoy time there with family and friends. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing & hunting, and spent many happy hours cruising the waters in his boat; moments that brought him peace and joy.
He will be deeply missed by his wife of 30 years Karen; Mother Juanita (Dale Simpson); his siblings: Bruce (Irene), Paula (Dana), Christa (Blake); as well as his mother-in-law, Christine MacAskill, and siblings-in-law, Alex (Sheena) and Kendall (Staci). He will also be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews: Tanya (Tyler, Peyton, Addison), Derrick (Jacklyn, Eli, Maisie), Dale, Dylan (Craig, Corbin), Drake, Landon (Madi), Avery, Myla, and Connor, along with many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly. He was predeceased by his father, Robert “Bobby” Shaw; his father-in-law, Wayne MacAskill; his nephew, Rowan; and his special uncles Harvey, Wilfred, Johnny, and Purvis, and Aunt Marion.
Kevin will be remembered for his infectious laugh, deep love of family, his connection to the outdoors, and the warmth he shared so freely with those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Cremation has taken place under the care of Ettinger Funeral Home. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a future date for close friends and family.
