When you hire Green Heritage Tree Services to do your tree work, you aren’t hiring a company that’s sending a tree worker employee out to do your job that has minimal experience.
You’re hiring a company where the owner (who has over 25 years experience) is going to actually be doing the work. You are paying for true worked experience and expertise when you choose Green Heritage Tree Services.

So when you’re getting quotes, remember that even though a company may have been around for a long time, the person who actually does your tree work may be inexperienced.

It’s simple really. You should be getting the best work done by qualified professionals because your trees, property and home are one of your biggest investments.

We’ve been on the list for over 10 years (longer than any other local tree company in HRM!).

Did you know that anyone can call themselves an arborist?
Yikes.

A certified arborist :
🌳has gone through rigorous testing to prove their knowledge of trees
🌳continues to expand their knowledge base by doing continuing education to maintain their certification

Your trees and your property are a huge investment and their care should be done by qualified professionals.

Meet Wes!

He is the owner/arborist of Green Heritage Tree Services Ltd.

Wes founded the company back in 2009 and brings almost 25 years of experience in the Arboriculture industry. He is a Certified Arborist through the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA).

This photo from a few years ago serves as a reminder that we can get some pretty brutal storms here in Nova Scotia. Though proactive tree maintenance isn’t a guarantee, it can certainly help protect your home and property.

Now is the time to have a certified arborist come by and assess the trees on your property to make sure you are heading into storm season with increased peace of mind.

🌳 Why choosing a certified arborist matters! Not all tree care is the same — ISA certification is a globally recognized standard that proves deep knowledge in tree biology, safety, proper pruning, and long-term care.
When you hire an ISA Certified Arborist, you’re choosing a professional who has passed rigorous testing, stays up-to-date with industry best practices, and prioritizes both safety and tree health. Learn what ISA certification means and why it matters to your property’s trees.

Along with having our tree care company our family has a homestead where we have a farmstand during the warmer months.
This winter we’ve had a few things available to order; sourdough chocolate chip cookies (very popular!), woodworking products and now organic cured garlic.
