🍔 Another McDonald’s project, this time in Moncton! 🏗️

We’re proud to have completed the construction of the new McDonald’s location on Mountain Road in Moncton. From the early stages of construction through to the finished building, our team worked hard to deliver a high-quality facility that will serve the community for years to come.

⛳ What a great day on the green!

Avondale Construction was proud to be the Presenting Sponsor of the Ignite the Fight Charity Golf Tournament in support of the Arthritis Society Canada on Thursday, August 20 at Glen Arbour Golf Club.

Our team played their best, our booth was greeted with plenty of smiles, and we had an incredible time connecting with everyone throughout the day. It was a fantastic event supporting an important cause!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success. We had a blast - and we’ll be back next year!

🌮 Who says tacos are just for Tuesdays? 🌮

A couple of Fridays ago, we decided to shake things up at Avondale with a Taco FRIDAY! 🎉 Because honestly, there's no reason tacos should be limited to one day of the week.

Our teams took a well-deserved break to enjoy some delicious food, good conversation, and a little Friday fun. And apparently, the food was WAY too good… because we didn't even get a single photo of the tacos! 😂🌮

We did, however, manage to snap a few photos of the team enjoying themselves - which is really what it's all about. Great food, great people, and a great way to head into the weekend!

🍔 Attention, Stellarton!

If you're suddenly craving a Big Mac, it might be because you drove past the McDonald's recently completed by Avondale!

We're excited to have completed the construction of this new restaurant, and we're thrilled to see another project open its doors to the community.

Whether you're stopping in for a morning coffee, a lunchtime burger, or a late-night McFlurry run (we won't judge 😉), we hope you enjoy the new space as much as we enjoyed building it out.

📸 Waterfront views. Beautiful craftsmanship. Every angle delivers.

No matter where @ pointed his camera, the building delivered. So did the seagull... who, despite appearances, was not a paid actor. 😄

We're proud to have been the builder of the new Boat School at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic on the Halifax Waterfront. This beautiful new space is now officially open and ready to welcome visitors, students, and future generations of boatbuilders and craftspeople.

🏗️ Building Spaces That Support Youth Wellness in New Brunswick 🏗️

Construction is underway on the new Provincial Youth Treatment Centre in Moncton, NB - a $23.2M project that will provide specialized care for youth aged 12 to 18 in a welcoming environment designed to feel more like home than a traditional healthcare setting.

Located on Salisbury Road in Moncton, this important facility will support New Brunswick’s mental health strategy by strengthening the continuum of care and expanding support services available to youth across the province.

Working with the Department of Transportation & Infrastructure, Buildings Division, our team continues to make progress toward the anticipated completion in July 2027.

Behind every successful project is a dedicated team working together to bring the vision to life. Meet some of the people helping make this project a reality: Project Manager Jeff Strickland, GSC, Project Coordinator Giovanne Rocha, P.Tech, and Site Superintendent Shawn Cote - whose leadership, coordination, and commitment are helping move this important facility forward.

🚧 A Major Lift at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre 🚧

A big milestone was reached on our AHU-1 & AHU-2 Replacement Project at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre (DGLDUHC) with the successful installation of the new AHU-2 unit onto the building’s roof.

This critical lift required careful planning, coordination, and teamwork to safely position the new air handling unit in place - an important step in upgrading the facility’s mechanical systems.

We’re currently on schedule and approximately 30% complete, continuing to work efficiently while supporting the hospital’s ongoing operations.

Stay tuned - we’ll be completing a similar critical lift for AHU-1 in mid-September as the project continues to move forward.
