A summertime automatic transfer generator install here. This 24kw Generac Official generator used in line with this 200 amp automatic transfer switch will power this clients home during any outage! We easily turned the main service panel to the side and slid our transfer switch in alongside. The reason for the larger unit is the rural location mixed with an EV that is the main vehicle used. (See last picture for EV charger we supplied the client) now they’ll have power under any circumstance with a system that will self diagnose any issues they may need JP Electric to come repair. Some heat pump jobs!
•The first video is a heat pump with a bad winding (video from our client) struggling to start as this unit was over 15 years old. A capacitor was repaired but the winding went shortly after. We swapped it out with a new system you can see in the proceeding pictures!
•the next is a tricky one we moved a split unit head into the basement area to help with keeping the rest of the house warm as the bedrooms don’t need a call for heat as often. Now there are no high pressure gas noises floating to the clients bedroom when they don’t need heat in those areas.

A single zone 12000 Btu Ouellett heat pump installed. The client wanted us to source a Canadian brand for them and we came through. Now like their main level apartment they have a cheaper form of heat than their electric baseboards and some air conditioning to go with it!

A recent kitchen renovation at a local church, we needed do add a single phase 200 amp panel to energize new equipment.

A 15000 BTU Fujitsu unit that started leaking refrigerant on a client after warranty was up this summer. We swapped it with a 12000 BTU Samsung high efficiency unit (previous unit was oversized) and they’ve been enjoying savings ever since.

11/13/2025

Recent install done by JP Electric. A basement apartment added to an unfinished basement of this building. All electric and LG mini split done by JP electric, as well as moving this York air conditioner piping to accommodate framing for the apartment. We added some bracing for the bracket as well to pull the unit off of the building as there was no air flow for that side of the coil (see the original building paint behind where we pulled it out) Now they’re up and running and after some egress windows are in they’ll be able to rent.
