Here at EcoLog Homes, we are passionate about our timber sources and as a division of the Haliburton Forest & Wild Life Reserve, we recognize and fully appreciate the sustainable forestry practices in place here since 1962. While our forest management protocols limit the amount of hemlock we can sustainably harvest from our own 100,000 acres, we are careful to use only sustainably-harvested timber for all our log home kits.
