We received a service call from Osmows Shawarma in Fergus, Ontario, to inspect their tankless Rinnai water heater, which had been causing some issues. After a thorough inspection, our team discovered the problem wasn’t with the Rinnai unit itself, but rather a faulty installation completed by a previous provider. We were happy to step in, correct the issue, and get their system running smoothly again.

I don’t know why changing filters are the most forgotten task in our homes, but let’s “change” that! 🏠✨

See how easy it is to change the filter pad in your humidifier. Yes I know what you are thinking, “but Mark, you are the HVAC guy!” but seriously, it takes less than 2 minutes and makes a huge difference for your air quality and your unit’s performance.  

Did you know, a clean filter ensures your humidifier runs efficiently, prevents mold or bacteria buildup, and keeps the air in your home fresh and healthy. Plus, it saves you money in the long run by avoiding costly repairs or replacements.  

We typically recommend you change your humidifier filter pad every 1 per year (or as recommended by your manufacturer) to keep things running smoothly.

Here’s your reminder to change your air filter!

Air filters are your HVAC system’s first line of defence. Over time, they get clogged with dust, allergens, and debris, reducing airflow and efficiency. Replace them every 1–3 months depending on usage, pets, and allergies. Clean filters mean cleaner air and lower energy bills!

Pro Tip: Write the date you changed it on the filter and set a reminder on your phone. This way, you’ll always know when to change it again. Don’t let dirty filters drag your system down!
