Got it all done without crawling underneath. I chose the “work smarter” method today. Strapped underneath and then laid my sheathing from the top. I’d rather run my table saw and circular saw for 4 hours then crawl around in the dirt holding 3/4” plywood above my head and screwing it in. Next we need to install two massive angle irons to remedy the failed ledger boards. One step at a time! Music choices suck for business pages 😅

Converting this sun room into a “three and a half season” room. Incorporating some spray foam in the subfloor and eventually the skirting. There is a massive heated pool in here and with all these windows, the sun should do a lot of the work. I have no idea, I’m just a carpenter 😅 That being said, i need to rework some of this framing to accept the spray foam. Challenge accepted.

Walking in to fix a few structural issues from a fire and all I could see was this terrible flashing work. Big builders get away with murder in Ottawa. Is it the same in your city? Can you do better than this? 😂

Is this something you would take the time to do? We lined up the battens on our siding from the building to the parapet. The projection is so far that you can literally only tell if you are exactly 90 degrees from the building 😂 It’s the little things though right?

Another shed, this one is on the fancier side for sure. Massive overhang, masonry, cathedral ceilings, electrical and air conditioning! Waiting on the panels and trims so we can match the Tudor style on the house and this will be a done deal!

She’s learning so much but this one stings a little. I used to get a nice morning hug where Madison would pretty much choke me out while saying “awww” and now we have hit the no stage haha. Heading to work this morning hug-less, don’t get in my way today 😂

That’s a wrap. Got the roof sheathed and applied a membrane to keep the OSB in good shape until we’re ready to shingle it. It’s a bonus that the membrane is pink. Yes, two of us can still lift it pretty easily. Getting it down the road will be another story😅. Anyone have a flatbed?
