This project was originally supposed to be a dock resurfacing and crib repair but upon inspection we verified they were in very rough shape and couldn't guarantee it would stay level and hold up in the future.

We recommended that a steel dock frame was our best option in order to guarantee there wouldn't be anymore head aches. Its a tough brutal job but knowing they will be able to enjoy this space for alot of years to come makes it all worth it 💪👍👌

I know it's been a while and I apologize!!
I am great at what I do but horrible with social media 🤣🤦
Here is an out of town job we did at the start of winter down in the Collingwood area.
This job was very involved, especially when working with an older structure that isn't square or level, you really need to keep your mind sharp.

-added small rear addition ✅
-removed existing roof at the rear of the building and went up another floor✅
-drive through attached garage ✅
-new front deck with gable and shed style roof ✅

More progress!!! Really starting to turn into something!! Can't wait to get working on this massive roof system👍💪👌!!!That tall wall still needs to come up about another 9 ft above current height and the log portion is 3ft below the chimney so even higher!!! Unfortunately the logs are a tremendous amount of work and they are currently behind on that section of the project🤷 hopefully they pull ahead though and don't end up slowing us down!!!

More progress today!! Got the floor system to link the existing completed and were able to finish the stair opening aswell. A bit of extra work notching the joists into the sill plate as the foundation wasnt very nice. Also got a bit of help from my son Hudson working out some walls and roof tonight 🤣

The deck is almost done and What a monster!!
Currently working on the floor system to join the existing cottage and will soon will have some more walls going up!! Also hard to notice but that's a proper flashing detail to insure no water ever makes its way back to the house at the ledger👌maybe we can do a video for all the diy'ers and owners who want to make sure they're getting a proper job💪👌 added some other cool randoms in the photos aswell!!!
