Residential HVAC Installer – G2 / 313D

Bridlewood Mechanical is hiring!

We are looking for an experienced Residential HVAC Installer to join our growing team in Gravenhurst, Ontario.

The ideal candidate will hold a G2 Gas Technician certification and 313D Residential Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic license, have strong residential installation experience, and take pride in delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Install residential furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related HVAC equipment
Complete gas, refrigeration, electrical, and ventilation connections
Be able to service and diagnose equipment
Perform equipment start-ups, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
Ensure all installations meet applicable codes, manufacturer specifications, and company standards
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
Communicate professionally with homeowners and answer basic questions regarding their new equipment
Complete required installation paperwork and job documentation
Work independently while being part of a supportive team
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

G2 Gas Technician certification – required
313D Residential Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic license – required
Residential HVAC installation experience
Strong understanding of gas, refrigeration, and HVAC systems
Ability to read equipment specifications and installation manuals
Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract – required
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Professional attitude and excellent customer-service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The most actionable steps include washing your indoor unit's filters every 2 weeks, keeping the outdoor condenser clear of debris, and scheduling an annual professional inspection.
Monthly Maintenance (DIY)Clean the Indoor Filters: Check your ductless unit filters every 2 weeks. Vacuum off built-up dust, wash them with mild soap and water, and let them dry completely before snapping them back into place.
Clear the Outdoor Unit: Routinely remove leaves, yard debris, and snow from the area around your outdoor condenser. Ensure shrubs and foliage are at least 18 inches away so airflow isn't restricted.
Wash the Outdoor Coils: Lightly rinse the outdoor fins with a garden hose on a low-pressure setting to knock off dust and dirt. Never use a pressure washer, as it will bend the delicate aluminum fins.

Bridlewood Mechanical is a growing HVAC company serving the Muskoka area, and we are looking for a motivated HVAC Helper to join our team immediately.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in building a career in the HVAC trade. Candidates do not need to hold an HVAC license; however, those currently working toward a license or already possessing one will be considered an asset.

Position Details
Immediate start
Minimum of 30 hours per week
Hours may vary depending on workload and project schedules
Position runs through the fall season, with the possibility of extension into full-time or part-time employment
Starting wage depends on experience

Qualified applicants will be invited to:
An in-person interview
A paid working interview to assess skills, work ethic, and team compatibility

Responsibilities
Assist HVAC technicians with installations, maintenance, and service work
Handle tools, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently

Basic knowledge and experience using hand and power tools

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working in crawlspaces, attics, and other confined areas
Reliable transportation to and from job sites with clean drivers abstract
Available to work Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday work available
