We're excited to see The Blue Building Project opening its doors this weekend!

Roots to Roof Contracting was proud to be part of the renovations that helped transform this space into a home for local entrepreneurs, artists, and small businesses here in Grande Prairie.

Projects like this are what make our community stronger—creating opportunities for people to pursue an idea and build something of their own.

A building created to help small-businesses launch their startup is ready to open their doors on Friday.

Officials with the Blue Building Project, say the goal of the initiative is to solve a common problem that local small businesses may encounter when trying to start-up.

Some of the problems include: the high barrier to entry for small businesses, startups, and artists looking for a physical space to connect with people.

Businesses within The Blue Building Project are currently running soft openings. All vendors will be open and the public is invited to visit all of the soft openings, on Friday, July 17, and Saturday, July 18.

Project Spotlight – Salmond Fire Hall, Grande Prairie

We're excited to be completing the exterior cladding remediation work at the Salmond Fire Hall. This project will see the existing stucco cladding system replaced as part of a major building envelope upgrade.

There's something special about working on buildings that serve our community, and we're grateful for the opportunity to play a part in preserving one of Grande Prairie's fire halls.

Remediation work is underway at the Salmond Fire Hall in Grande Prairie, primarily to replace the exterior stucco cladding system.

Grande Prairie Nissan – Exterior Cladding Completion

Proud to have completed the ACM exterior package at Grande Prairie Nissan in collaboration with Hollis Developments.

This project required a high level of coordination across multiple elevations, with a focus on clean panel layout, consistent joint alignment, and seamless integration with glazing systems and structural elements.

From feature entrance detailing to large-scale wall runs, our team approached this build with an emphasis on precision, efficiency, and delivering a finished product that meets the standard expected on projects of this scale.
