Prefurd Oilfield Services recently completed a pump base upgrade and piping modification for a valued client, improving both equipment reliability and environmental protection.

The existing pump was previously mounted directly to a concrete block with limited containment. Our team fabricated and installed a new pump tray designed to provide secondary containment while also helping reduce vibration transfer through the system.

The project also included piping modifications to ensure proper alignment and fit-up with the new configuration, supporting long-term maintainability and operational stability.

By integrating structural fabrication with piping adjustments, we were able to deliver a practical solution that improves performance while helping protect surrounding equipment and infrastructure.

Progress update on a current dehydration unit retrofit.

One photo shows the original condition — a corroded skid with aging piping and visible structural wear.

The second reflects where we are today: corrosion removed, steel restored, and the skid fully prepped and recoated to provide a renewed foundation for the next phase.

Upcoming scope includes:
• Separator reinstallation
• New building installation
• Final integration

Retrofitting isn’t just cosmetic — addressing corrosion and restoring structural integrity is critical to extending asset life and maintaining operational reliability.
