Well this took far longer than I’d like to admit.... Custom made monster butcher block to cover a hole in the countertop that used to have a gas stove in it. 24” by 36”, solid Canadian hard maple with Black American Walnut trim

Well this might be a red neck fan stand.... but the important thing is that it works, keeping the epoxy from 15-25C while cures ensures no bubbles cracks or informalities in the epoxy pour itself. Yes I know my shop is a mid project mess.

A bit of a change from the usual woodworking, Mark and Rod gave me a run through of their blacksmithing shop in town and showed me the ropes of this awesome craft.
