This is a project we finished last week for a wonderful client. This driveway was laid a long time ago but never had the proper base materials installed which caused some serious settling over the years. It made sense for the homeowner to replace the aging retaining wall and steps at the same time so we made it happen. We excavated down 24” and installed the proper aggregates and compacted and installed the Compac retaining wall system in charcoal color with some new Permacon steps. This shows how versatile paving stones can be. Even at approximately 15 years old these can be reused for another 15 or more now that the proper base is installed.
