Our crew has been making some great progress on this electrical project, and it’s always a little extra special getting to help improve a place that was once a big part of our own lives.

Solar inspection passed! ✅☀️

We’re one step closer to bringing this system online. Next up is the installation of the bi-directional meter by Manitoba Hydro, and then we’ll complete the startup.

Looking forward to seeing this system begin producing clean, renewable energy!

Don’t be left in the dark! 🔦

🚨 Recent Manitoba power outages are a great reminder to make sure your backup generator is ready when you need it most.

If you own a Generac standby generator, don’t wait until the next outage to find out it needs attention.

Here are a few simple maintenance tips:
✅ Check for any warning lights or alarms on the controller or app.
✅ Make sure the area around the generator is clear of grass, weeds, snow, and debris.
✅ Verify your generator is completing its exercise cycle.
✅ Check engine oil frequently.
✅ Have your generator professionally serviced every year (or more often if it runs frequently).
✅ Every few months run the generator under load for a minimum 20 minutes to reduce moisture build up from our cold Manitoba climate.

A standby generator is only as reliable as the maintenance behind it.

At Innovative Electric Ltd., we’re an authorized Generac service dealer and provide maintenance, repairs, and annual service to help ensure your generator is ready when the lights go out.

Stay safe, Manitoba! ⚡

Very grateful to take home the Trades in Action Award from the Gimli Chamber of Commerce this past weekend!

This one means a lot. What started as a small idea has grown into something I’m really proud of, and that doesn’t happen without the right people. Huge thanks to our crew for the hard work day in and day out, and to our customers for trusting us with their projects. And of course, my wife—thanks for being there through all the ups and downs.

Proud moment for Innovative Electric—and we’re just getting started. Looking forward to continuing to serve our community!

Thanks again to the organizers of The Gimli Chamber of Commerce!
