5000 lbs of air lift to remove the submerged anchor block from the mud.

It usually takes around 2500lb to lift a 4500lb concrete anchor block under water.

Anchor blocks displace so much water that ~2000lbs of the 4500 is “trying” to float

I thought this was pretty cool

Customers mooring was disappearing at medium and high tides after years of operating normally, today we went to investigate and it seems like this spot experienced something like an underwater land slide event.

Tomorrow we’ll move the block to a less active part of the sea floor, I’ll post a video of that process 👌 🤿 🔱
