Winner announced April 17th

This was our first spring at the shop, and with maple trees right on the property, we thought it would be fun to try tapping them as a family.

It turned into 8 litres of our own Funnell Family maple syrup.

We shared it with our Funnell crew, family, and friends at a Good Friday pancake breakfast with pancakes, a mini petting zoo, Easter egg hunt, and a walk through the sugar bush.

Grateful for this space and the people we get to share it with.

Last year, we had the opportunity to complete the electrical work for Forest Eye Care at 21 Mill street.

It was a pleasure working with Dr. Jeff Lam throughout the project, and since then we have also had the chance to see him as a patient — an incredibly positive experience all around. Great guy and a great doctor.

If haven’t had your eyes checked since Dr. Price closed his practice, we highly recommend giving Dr. Lam and his team a call. They are professional, friendly, and truly care about their patients.

We always appreciate the chance to work with other local businesses, especially when we can continue supporting them after the job is done.

Family roots run deep. 👊⚡️

Funnell Electrical Contractors was originally founded in 1976 by Adam’s grandfather, Art Funnell, who began his career in the electrical trade in the late 1950’s. Many people in the area may remember the old shop and gas station/snack bar — now known as the Hill Top Coffee Shop — where it all began.

Art built the foundation, Adam’s father Pat Funnell carried it forward, and today Adam is proud to continue the tradition as the third generation in the electrical contracting business.

For over 50 years, the Funnell name has been part of this community, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us over the years — past and present.

We are proud of where we come from, and proud to keep serving Gananoque, Lansdowne, the Thousand Islands, Kingston, and Brockville with the same hard work and reliability that started it all.
