As a Restorer I like using these Allbeck products and have had SO many questions which I answer for my clients, or in my workshops. Here is Allbeck's owners basic answers and very helpful information you may wish to consider using instead of modern "paint" that I feel does not pe*****te anything made of wood, or preserve anything made of wood, costs people a lot of their hard earned money, peels and rubs off, and is not good for you or the environment. I don't have mold growth either, as I also put a thin layer of their clear wax as a final protective layer so water beads up and falls off. I'm pleased as are my clients with the outstanding end results that last and cause no harm.
