Maybe the signs were always there… 👀🔨

After one of Colby’s former teachers commented that he used to dress up as Mike Holmes from Holmes on Homes for Halloween, we knew we had to find the proof. 😂

And sure enough… here it is.

Hey, Mike Holmes, what do you think? Did young Colby nail the look? 👷‍♂️

With fall and Halloween around the corner, we want to know: what did YOU dress up as when you were a kid? And even better, did it have anything to do with what you ended up doing for a living?

Turns out Colby might have been giving us a little career foreshadowing all along. 😂

There’s a lot that goes into building a business you’re proud to put your name on.

For Colby, it started young. Learning, working, asking questions, taking on new challenges and figuring out how to get the job done right.

Today, Parsons Group has grown into a hardworking team serving Central Newfoundland, but that same mentality is still at the heart of what we do.

Take pride in the work.
Treat people right.
Build a team you trust.
And do the kind of work people are happy to recommend.

Whether your next project involves excavation, landscaping, aggregates, asphalt, renovations, painting, custom cabinetry or something else entirely, there’s a good chance our team can help.

Have a project in mind?

Long before Parsons Group, there was a little boy who wanted to learn how everything worked. 🛠️

And luckily, Colby had a Pop who was always willing to show him.

Tools, construction, landscaping, fixing things, figuring things out and, maybe most importantly, understanding the value of hard work.

Those early lessons helped shape the way Colby approaches his work today and ultimately played a part in building Parsons Group into what it is now.

Over the next little while, we're going to be sharing more of Colby's story, from the early days to some of the projects, people and moments that helped get Parsons Group here.

And we want to hear from you! If you've got a story, photo or memory from the early days of Parsons Group or a project Colby worked on, send it our way. We'd love to feature some of them.

Today, that same work ethic continues with a hardworking team proudly serving Central Newfoundland.
