ISO: Hay & Straw Suppliers❗️

We’re looking for a new hay supplier - preferably one who offers delivery but not a requirement.

We’d also like to secure a straw supplier who’s closer to the sanctuary in Codys, NB near Cambridge-Narrows.

We are currently short about 200-250 bales of hay to get us into next year’s hay season.

Our estimated order of small square hay bale for 2026 will be over 1500 bales.

She quickly figured out how to open a gate and get to the hay pile - that amount of food must have seemed like an oasis in the desert to her! Also, if anyone asks why we have clips on the gates inside the barn, this is one of the reasons why - gate-opening goats😄. Fun fact: Sid knows how to open gates that aren’t clipped too! 🐑

Halloween is almost here, and the Gagetown Fire Department is gearing up to bring some spooky fun to the kids in our community! 🧡

We’re collecting Halloween treat donations 🍬🍫 to hand out at our event!

Two exciting things are happening today!

The first is that S&K Electric Inc is here winterizing the barn bathroom and installing a laundry tub for dishes! I know this isn't the most glamorous news, but we're excited about this upgrade!

No more hunching over a freezing hose trying to wash dishes in a snow bank while simultaneously trying to avoid making an icy hazard! While Robyn, Tim and myself (Jamie) have gotten good at this hope-to-never-use-again skill, our backs are rejoicing over the start of this project 😅.

The work being done has been fully funded by the incredible generosity of the Kindness Club Foundation (founded by Mrs. Aida Flemming). We're so profoundly thankful for another year of their support.

The second exciting thing happening today is our live presentation, "Lily's Place: What We Do & Why," which is happening tonight at 7pm AST (6pm EST) on Google Meet. Be sure to set an alarm and join us live, as there won't be a replay.

If anyone knows of a cleaner or a retired person that wants to earn some money, S&K is currently looking for a cleaner for the shop/house/office. Frankly if I have the time, I don't have the energy..and if i have the energy well then I don't have the time. Just looking for someone to do the basics...bathrooms, floors, walls,baseboards..etc. It would be 2 times a week. Please share this, I desperately need help. I started looking for help last year but got sick shortly after so had to abandon my search.

S&K Electric would like to take a moment and wish all our clients a merry Christmas.

We will be closed for staff holidays from Saturday December 21 2024 and will reopen Monday January 6 2025.
