YSC Forest Products Marketing Board We are a non-government organization composed of private woodlot owners and wood producers in the York, Sunbury and Charlotte counties.

YSC’s objective is to assist private landowners and producers in the York, Sunbury, and Charlotte counties of New Brunswick to market their forest products and to offer support and services to properly manage their woodlots.

Please be advised that on Saturday (Sept 5th) and on Sunday (Sept 6th) between 10:00 am and 3:30 pm each day there will be no access to the South Bay Chip Plant.



The road will be closed to allow for the movement of oversized equipment as part of the boiler construction that is ongoing.



Outside of these two time periods deliveries can happen normally.

SOUTH BAY CHIP PLANT - If you are not a self loader and have not already loaded for South Bay please hold off on loading until this evening. The Chip Plant has a maintenance day today and the Sennebogan is down awaiting repairs. There will be a second loader on site by the end of the day today. Self loaders can continue to deliver and unload themselves.

LAKE UTOPIA - They currently have an issue with the weigh scales at Lake Utopia. The problem will be assessed this morning and they will advise further. If you are loaded with Birch you are welcome to get your weights at the South Bay Chip Plant scales in Saint John on route to Lake Utopia. JDI will advise they know when the scales will be back in operation.
