Job Title: Groundsman / Linesman

Position Overview
CCW Ventures Ltd. is seeking motivated and safety-oriented Groundsmen and Linesmen to join our field operations team. The successful candidates will support aerial and underground fibre construction projects, working alongside experienced crews to ensure efficient and high-quality project ex*****on.
Key Responsibilities
Groundsman:
Assist linesmen with daily construction and installation tasks
Handle and organize tools, materials, and equipment on-site
Support pole transfers, strand placement, and cable pulling
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Perform site setup as required
Linesman:
Perform aerial fibre installation, strand placement, and lashing
Complete pole transfers and make-ready work
Operate bucket trucks and climbing equipment (if certified)
Interpret construction drawings and plans
Ensure all work is completed safely and to industry standards
Qualifications & Requirements
Previous experience in telecommunications or construction is considered an asset
Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 3 with air brakes is an asset)
Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
Strong understanding of safety procedures and willingness to follow company policies
Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials
Certifications considered an asset:
First Aid
Fall Protection
Bucket Truck / Aerial Lift Certification
