August 6, 2026. Throwback to May 31, 1996, Eugene Joseph School tree planting for Tanizul. Starts of with Dear Woody. Thank you letters from more school students.

August 5, 2026. Throwback to 1996. Young students from Eugene Joseph School saying thank you for the tree planting experience. Norman is Norman Alexis who currently sits on our Board of Directors. Ronald or Ronald Monk was on our last board. Tomorrow will be another post.

July 15, 2026. Our wildlife cameras were checked this week. One of our cameras caught this. Bear running away from a wolf using a beaver dam as an escape route. Big thanks to John Prince Research Forest staff and Tanizul staff for the maintenance and checking of our camera network.

July 9, 2026. Thank you to all that could attend our 2026 Annual General Meeting. Another good financial audit and successful year reported on. Attached is the video that was playing in the gym that others online couldn't see. We would like to apologies for the delay as we encountered equipment failures that needed a workaround. We will remedy for next year.

June 1, 2026. Safety and drills. Annual hearing test done, Emergency Transportation Vehicle ETV setup. Safety drill for injured worker and wildfire response. If things go sideways it’s good to be prepared. Thanks to all staff that attended.

June 2, 2026. Eugene Joseph Elementary School came for a visit and planted some trees. We have a special spot picked out where they can plant multiple years and see the improvement of each year’s planting. Today they planted Spruce, Lodge pole pine, and Douglas-fir. Margaret had the pleasure of planting a huckleberry seedling. Next year we get to see how they turned out. Thanks for coming out.

June 1, 2026. Koltyn MacGillivary Honeywell started working at Tanizul on June 1, 2021. Yesterday on June 1st Koltyn started his 6th year here at Tanizul Timber Ltd. Five years and a day since you joined our team and began making an immediate impact. Thank you for your continued dedication, hard work, and your shared contributions to all of our major milestones.". Koltyn is a graduate of the Forest Resource Technology program at College of New Caledonia in Prince George and started his career here.
