The 2016 Horse River / Fort McMurray wildfire was the costliest natural disaster in Canadian history, forcing the evacuation of over 80,000 residents on May 3, 2016. As of January 2020, about 85% of wildfire rebuild dwellings were occupied as efforts to support residents in recovery continue at the Municipality and across the region.

Combined Concrete Pumping was working around the clock tirelessly to rebuild this wonderful community that we call home.

The Parsons Creek Interchange provides access to roughly 12,000 residents and new businesses. This significant earthworks scope was complicated by the need to haul across 4 active lanes of Hwy 63, which was safely and successfully executed.

Our Combined Concrete Pumping Team answered every call and ensured a successful project completion. Our Concrete Pump Operators ensured an even pour with the perfect concrete blend.

The city of Ft. McMurray has nearly doubled in population in the last five years. Highway 63 runs north-south through the centre of Fort McMurray and is was heavily congested, especially during shift changes.

The Athabasca River Bridge added five lanes to the existing four lanes, later adding one more lane bringing the total to ten lanes. Our Combined Concrete Pumping team worked tirelessly to ensure the project was completed effectively and efficiently.
