Have you ever had the pleasure of using those facilities in the rest areas? Are they the most disgusting back to the 1900 type of facilities a hole in the ground and a urinal with no water no heat no lights are very little. Is that something that if you were a truck driver on the road all the time you would look forward to to rest and use a facilities even as a road driver or occasional driver it is totally disgusting yesterday I was coming back from BC and there was so much tourism so many people from different countries around I walk into that facility and it was disgusting make you want to throw up and this is to showcase Canada. I think the Alberta government can do a much better job than those Concrete block sitting on a piece of land if you go to United States, all the Truck facilities or rest areas are beautiful have water, sewer heat, and you can relax. You can’t even sit around. We need something like this in Alberta, especially the Engine of Canada, the economic Engine of Canada. I think it’s time that the government step up their game with so many tourists that are coming to Alberta we can do much better than what we have now. Also, the ones in the park are handled by the federal government and they were not much better than that. Bring a septic system bring a water tank and have a place where a person can sit and relax a little bit and take a break after the road if it needs to that’s my rant.
