At Bouchier, safety isn’t just a program. It’s part of how we work, every single day.

From operating heavy equipment and maintaining infrastructure to working on the tools or managing logistics, every member of our team plays an important role in creating a safety-first culture and making sure everyone gets home safe.

That’s why we’re proud to recognize Marton Torok as the recipient of Bouchier’s Q2 Safety Recognition Award.

An Operator with our Fort Hills Roads & Grounds team, Marton was randomly selected from the many high-quality Hazard Identification submissions received throughout April, May and June.

As he approaches his three-year milestone with Bouchier, Marton continues to demonstrate a proactive commitment to safety through his attention to detail and dedication to identifying potential risks before they become incidents.

Congratulations, Marton, and thank you for helping make safety part of how we work.

This winter, 18-year-old Fin joined Bouchier’s Projects team as a labourer. It was his first experience with construction, camp life and shift work, and he quickly became part of the crew.

Working alongside the team, Fin learned a lot, worked hard and built some great connections along the way.

Then came an unexpected opportunity! While on a golf trip, Fin was paired with a university golf coach from Boston, who offered him a scholarship to join the school’s golf team.

Making that opportunity work wasn’t easy, but the wages Fin earned at Bouchier, along with the flexibility from the team, helped make it possible.

Now, Fin is spending the summer working in landscaping before heading to Boston to pursue his education and his passion for golf.

We’re proud that we could play a small part in helping Fin take this next step, and we’re cheering him on all the way.

Sometimes a job is more. It can be the start of what comes next.

This past weekend, the Bouchier team was proud to sponsor and participate in the final Bash 4 Nash Golf Tournament.
Since 2014, the Shane Daye and Keith Nash Memorial Foundation has made a meaningful impact in our community, awarding nearly $70,000 in scholarships and supporting local youth sports.
While this tournament marks the end of an incredible chapter, the Foundation's commitment to creating opportunities and building a lasting legacy for the youth of Fort McMurray continues.
Thank you to everyone who organized this special farewell event. We were honoured to be part of it.

19,355 hours. And this wheeled loader isn’t done yet.

Our Cat 980M wheeled loader recently completed a CAT-certified rebuild with the Finning team, adding a second life and giving us an additional 10,000 hours of warranty coverage.

Through proactive maintenance within a strong asset management program, and skilled operation from our Operations team this loader exceeded its expected 12,000–15,000-hour first life before rebuild by an estimated 30%.

The three-month rebuild included major components and hydraulic work, cab and HVAC upgrades, a full paint refresh, and more, bringing the machine back to like-new condition.

Now back in service at the client site, this 980 wheeled loader is ready for its next chapter.

A big thank you to our Asset Management Team, Operations Team and Finning/CAT partners for helping us build and maintain equipment to go the distance.

We Care. We Inspire. We Deliver.

Bouchier is proud to have partnered on the creation of two handcrafted benches for a new campfire space for a client.
Built by Northern Hart Designs and shaped with cultural guidance from Allison Flett of Mikisew Cree First Nation, each bench tells a story. One is inspired by the Seven Sacred Teachings, reflecting the values that guide how we care for one another, lead, and work together. The other celebrates the power of coming together, recognizing the many people, cultures, and teams that contribute every day.
From concept to completion, this project was made possible through collaboration, craftsmanship, and a shared commitment to creating spaces that honour Indigenous culture and strengthen community.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped bring this project to life.

The 2025 Bouchier Foundational Awards are more than a celebration. They are a reflection of the values that guide who we are.

This year, we were proud to partner with local artist Deco Moon Glassworks to bring the Seven Sacred Teachings to life through handcrafted stained-glass awards.

Each award was thoughtfully created as a lasting symbol of the teachings we carry with us:
Humility
Love
Courage
Truth
Honesty
Respect
Wisdom

From the hands of a local artist to the hands of our incredible team members, these awards represent more than achievement. They represent the way we show up for one another, our work, our communities and the values that keep us rooted in who we are.
A special thank you to Deco Moon Glassworks for turning these teachings into something our recipients can proudly carry forward.
We Care. We Inspire. We Deliver.

From demolition to delivery, this project a great example of what teamwork and craftsmanship can accomplish.

What began as a collection of aging standalone units is now a fully integrated facility designed to support daily site operations. Through careful planning, skilled ex*****on, and strong collaboration, the team successfully relocated, rebuilt, and transformed the space into a practical, durable complex, complete with upgraded interiors, a functional kitchen, and a connected exterior deck.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed their expertise to bring this project to life. Outstanding work by the entire Camp Projects team!
