Another busy week for NorthCrew in Fort McKay!

Our crew is making great progress on another deck build for McKay Métis Nation, with the structure taking shape, stairs framed and railings coming together.

It's exciting to see our team taking on new scopes of work while continuing to grow our capabilities in the community.

From land clearing and vegetation management to carpentry, civil construction and site support, NorthCrew is building a team that can take on a variety of projects.

🌲 FROM HAND CLEARING TO HEAVY EQUIPMENT! 💪🚜

Another day of progress for NorthCrew in Fort McKay!

After our crew goes in by hand to identify and expose hidden hazards, it's time to bring in the equipment.

Our CAT skid steer and Virnig grapple are putting in the work, removing brush, roots and debris as we continue preparing the area.

This is what we're building NorthCrew around — combining experienced operators, capable equipment and a safety-first approach to get the job done efficiently.

Every project is another opportunity to demonstrate what our team can bring to the table, from vegetation management and land clearing to civil construction and industrial site support.

Local crews. Reliable equipment. Getting the job done. 💪

PROJECT COMPLETE 🔨✅

Another NorthCrew project wrapped up in Fort McKay!

Our crew has completed this new deck build for McKay Métis Nation — taking the project from the initial layout and framing right through to the finished deck, stairs and railings.

This was a new scope of work for NorthCrew and another opportunity to demonstrate the versatility of our team.

As we continue to grow, so does the range of work we're able to take on — from vegetation management and civil/site work to carpentry, construction and workforce support.

We're proud of the finished product, but even more proud of the relationships we're continuing to build in Fort McKay.

Thank you to McKay Métis Nation for another opportunity to put NorthCrew to work in the community.

One project at a time. One relationship at a time. Keep building. 💪

ANOTHER PROJECT UNDERWAY IN FORT McKAY 🌲💪

While one NorthCrew crew gets started on our new deck project, we're also continuing with our second land-clearing project in Fort McKay.

The first stage is being completed by hand — cutting and removing brush, exposing hidden hazards and preparing the area before equipment is brought in.

It's great to see multiple NorthCrew projects moving forward at the same time and our scope of work continuing to grow in the community.

Different crews. Different scopes. Same commitment to getting the work done safely and properly.

We're proud of the relationships we're building in Fort McKay and excited about what's ahead.

NEW PROJECT. NEW SCOPE. 🔨

Excited to have NorthCrew starting another project, this time working with McKay Métis Nation.

Our crew is on site getting started on a new deck build — another opportunity for us to expand our capabilities, take on a different scope of work, and continue building strong relationships in the community.

From civil and vegetation work to carpentry and site support, every new project gives our team an opportunity to grow and show what NorthCrew can bring to the table.

We’re proud of the direction things are heading and excited to keep building — one project and one relationship at a time.

SAFETY STARTS BEFORE THE EQUIPMENT DOES. 🌲👷

Before we bring equipment into an overgrown area, our crew goes in by hand first.

We identify and expose hidden hazards, flag the work area and make sure our operators know exactly what they're working around before the machines start moving.

Old wire, debris, uneven ground and other hidden hazards can quickly turn into equipment damage or, more importantly, a safety risk.

Taking the extra time up front allows us to work safer and more efficiently once the equipment moves in.

Plan the work. Expose the hazards. Then get to work. 💪

Another NorthCrew project underway in Fort McKay.

THE WORK STARTS BEFORE THE EQUIPMENT DOES. 👷‍♂️

Another NorthCrew project getting underway in Fort McKay.

Before the equipment moves in, the work area gets assessed, hazards are identified, the scope is reviewed and the job is planned out properly.

It might not be the flashy side of the job, but it's an important one.

Plan the work. Control the hazards. Execute the job.

That's how we continue building NorthCrew's capacity to support civil, vegetation and site work throughout the Wood Buffalo region.

LAND CLEARING IN FORT McKAY 🌲🚜

NorthCrew is back at it in Fort McKay, clearing land, moving material and keeping the job moving forward.

A big shout-out to Summit GM for stepping up and supporting NorthCrew while our truck is in the shop. They got us into a brand-new 2026 Chevrolet Silverado Duramax so we could keep our equipment moving and, most importantly, not miss a single day of work.

That kind of support means a lot to a growing local business. When equipment goes down, downtime can cost you — Summit GM helped make sure that didn’t happen.

No downtime. No missed days. Just keep moving. 💪

Proud to be working in Fort McKay and continuing to build relationships throughout the Wood Buffalo region.
