Every new client we've added to our growing roster this year, has been an absolute GEM!

Today's new member had reached out to us with pictures, and a really important question. Can you help with THIS ..or will you ghost and block me after seeing it? 😆👻

With the indispensable help of Amy Garner, we set out to see if we could tame the beast. Thankfully the weather was perfect for us. I think we got a generous amount sorted and ready for veggie planting ✅️

We have adorable clients this week. 👩👶

They have common, but compounded garden nuisances. A trained horticultural gardener can intervene and help prevent the problems from returning.

Perhaps you too have some of these garden issues?

Self seeded Rose of Sharon's everywhere
- fully uproot as many as possible
- always rake up, and bag, the fallen flower heads
- seriously..always

Dandelions
- get that taproot all the way out whenever possible or it will be back in 2 days..with friends

Cleavers
- wear gloves, it's an allergen
- gently unwind them from plants before plucking
- remove before they flower.. or you will be overrun

Wild bushes
-remove all dead, diseased, damaged and disecting branches
-Clip them to look thick..no scragglies

Hardened clay soil
- till it, and add fresh triple mix

Grasses invading the garden beds
-hard moat-like edges
-cardboard over the worst areas
-top with fresh soil
-repeat in the Fall if it persists

We made alot of corrections in this garden and its almost ready for the homeowners clear vision. She has a fresh vibe and likes purposeful planting groups. We LOVE when clients tell us what they want. It's also fantastic when they are willing to let us properly fix garden issues first and not just bypass them.

Alright FRIDAY 😅
Today I tamed "winter creep" so my adorable clients can get planning their annuals installation. They already have an impressive variety of native perennials!
Baby bees were emerging from sweet spots on their beds.
And I wish I'd have captured a photo of all the dogs coming from their grooming salon today..they all looked so precious..like living teddy bears 💖

We make it right ✅️

A former gardener planted creeping Euonymus thinking they were Euonymus Shrubs.
It's been left for quite a spell rooting and twisting thru the ground. It never turned into a Shrub 😆 but removing it.. did make for a good amount of excercise in both muscle, and willpower for 2 of us ladies today.

Here's a before and after of the brand new welcome garden..still in her baby form. Will be stunning soon enough. You can't stop us..we've got shovels, a plant-o-gram and we arent afraid to squat. 💪💪

First keeping a beautiful garden in tip top shape, then off to restore a garden that got pulverized by a new fence installation. 😀
