We Are Hiring!

Established in 2007, Amundsen Electric Ltd. is a proud family-owned and operated company deeply rooted in Fernie. With a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, we’ve been serving our local community with excellence for over a decade.

We are currently seeking skilled Journeyperson Electricians or 4th year Apprentices to join our team. Experience in residential and commercial installations is preferred, along with competent skills in maintenance, diagnostic repairs, and installations.

- The ideal candidate for our Journeyperson position will possess or be in the process of acquiring Red Seal certification, hold a valid BC driver’s license with a clean driving record, and stay current with Canadian Electrical Code requirements. Good organizational skills, the ability to supervise projects, and instruct apprentices are valuable assets. Additionally, a friendly and professional demeanor when working with clients is essential.

We are also seeking a motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their skills and gain valuable hands-on experience in both residential and commercial electrical work.

- The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, eager to learn, and takes pride in their work. Experience in residential or commercial electrical installations or completion of a pre apprentice trades training program is an asset, along with a willingness to develop skills.
