Snapped this beauty in Sparwood this week! We’re excited to share that we’re using the new IKO synthetic paper alongside Earthtone Cedar Cambridge shingles.

The synthetic paper is a fantastic new product for us, and it’s proving to be excellent. Its numerous lines help keep the shingles perfectly straight. Plus, our Bostitch coil roofing nailer ensures everything is secured just right. 🔨

Another roofing masterpiece in the books! Our team at Birdhouse braved rain and windstorms last week to complete this 5000 square foot metal roof in a stunning gunmetal grey. When the sun finally emerged on the last day, we were treated to breathtaking views of the Fernie mountains. 🏔️The perfect combination of perseverance and beauty!

And that’s a wrap! Our job is complete and the final photos are here. Just a refresher - we used Iko Cambridge Earthtone Cedar shingles and Forma Steel custom sized roof and chimney flashings. Slide back a couple posts and see the job in stages.

We’re stoked to be working with Graceland Builders, in Fernie, on a fantastic roofing project! This job includes a beautiful addition to both the garage and the main house.

Here’s what we’re working on:

1. Steel Tear Off: Removing the old, worn steel roofing to make way for a fresh start.
2. 1/2” Plywood Sheeting: Adding durability and strength to the structure.
3. Vapour Barrier: Ensuring maximum protection from moisture.
4. IKO Earthtone Cedar Shingles: Topped off with stunning shingles for a natural, classic look.
5. Black Drip Edge and Steel Valley Pans: Sleek black accents for a polished finish.
