We’re hiring an In-Office (Fenelon Falls) BARNDOMINIUM DESIGNER to join the Barndo & Co. team!

This is an opportunity to be part of a growing residential, equestrian & agricultural barndominium design & management company and help shape homes that families have been dreaming about for years.

You’ll work directly alongside our Plan & Design Manager, helping create and refine custom barndominium floor plans for a wide range of clients, properties, lifestyles and design visions.

We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of residential design and space planning who genuinely enjoys creating thoughtful, functional homes.

You’ll have the opportunity to develop within our Plan & Design department, learn the Barndo & Co. process, work on a diverse range of custom residential projects, and potentially grow into a more client-facing design role over time.

Monday to Friday | 9AM–5PM | IN-OFFICE
$40,000–$60,000/year

PLAN & DESIGN SPECIALIST!

We are looking for someone with a genuine understanding of residential design and space planning, not simply someone who knows how to operate drafting software.

The ideal candidate is:

Experienced in residential floor-plan design, drafting, interior space planning, architectural technology, home design, or a related field.

Comfortable working directly with homeowners and discussing their needs, ideas, and concerns.

Able to visualize how people will actually live within a home.

Highly detail-oriented.

Organized and capable of managing several projects simultaneously.

An excellent written and verbal communicator.

Comfortable receiving feedback and making multiple design revisions.

Confident using technology and able to learn new software quickly.

Able to collaborate effectively within a larger design and operations team.
Accountable for deadlines, communication, and quality of work.
Someone who genuinely enjoys creating homes and working with clients.

Experience with RoomSketcher is an asset, but experience with comparable residential design or drafting software is also valuable.
