Another clean and compact install by BW Electric ⚡
With no remaining space in the main panel, this Square D sub panel fit perfectly in the little space I had to work with. The new septic system needed a dedicated pump circuit, and we also added a panel plug for the high level alarm.
Sometimes the best part of the job is finding a clean solution when space is limited — and making it look like it was always meant to be there.

Replaced this original construction bathroom fan with a new fan/ light combo. A little trip up into the attic to reroute the electrical and connect the ducting properly.

A quick electrical safety tip:

Everyone likes a good deal, or the newest gadget on Amazon. One thing that no one thinks about, is this new light fixture, or thermostat, or smart plug Certified for use in Canada. Before you click that order button do a little research and make sure that it has one of the designations below that are approved for use in Canada and specifically Nova Scotia. If it doesn't and comes to an investigation for something like a fire etc... you may not be covered by insurance, If they determine the equipment isn't approved for use in Canada. Take that extra few minutes and make sure, it may save you a huge headache later. And always use a fully licensed and insured electrician!

More lighting upgrades from last week. A new LED light for a shop and 2 modern outdoor fixtures.

One of last weeks jobs was 6 new potlights on a front and back porch area. Considering a strip of the tongue and groove boards needed to be cut all the way along and taken down to accomplish this. The customer was very happy with how it turned out. You can barely tell an entire section was removed and reinstalled.

Fridays job was a bathroom reno. Adding a gfci receptacle, 2 potlights on a dimmer switch. And a fan light combo with the fan on a timer, and light on a separate switch.
