Habitat for Humanity is about helping families with affordable and decent housing. By building a house (meeting all Building Code requirements) selling it to a low-income family and taking back a no-interest mortgage, Habitat Huron County gives familes an opportunity to build their own strength, stability and self-reliance.
BUT CONSTRUCTION IS EXPENSIVE. 🔨
Habitat for Humanity Restores are not intended to help low-income families with used goods, there are other Excellent organizations with that Mission. 🥰
Restores are our Fundraisers, we need the best price we can receive. We thank the generous donors of gently used household goods or excess building supplies and we thank the customers willing to pay a reasonable price and support our mission. 🙏 This is how we can buy the 2x4's, windows and doors and bathroom fixtures for the next Habitat Huron County Build.
Prices at Restores are based on 50% of regular retail, adjusted for the condition of the item. A community that comes together, grows together 🥰
