Each April, we open a limited residential booking window so we can maintain service standards while fulfilling our commercial contracts.

Story of the Day ❄️🧂
Just when you think you’ve finally got things cleaned up…
the snow starts falling again.
Every. Single. Time.
We clear it, salt it, get the crews home, everyone thinks they might actually get an evening with their families — and then boom… back out we go. That’s been our reality lately. Seven days a week. Nearly two straight months of winter that just won’t quit.
Today was one of those days.
As if the never-ending snow wasn’t enough, we got a message from our salt supplier. After working together for 7 years and operating under a contract, the price was suddenly doubled — with the reminder that “at least we’re not being cut off completely.”
So yes… it kind of feels like getting kicked while you’re down — and then having salt rubbed right into the wound 🧂😅
At this point, it feels like dealing with the Salt N**i.
Say the wrong word… ask the wrong question…
👉 NO SALT FOR YOU!
All jokes aside, we’re still out there doing everything we can to keep properties safe, conserve material responsibly, and support our crews as they grind through another tough Ontario winter.
Some days test your patience.
Some days you just have to laugh…
and keep pushing snow.

skilled Agricultural / Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team full-time.

This is a career position, not seasonal work. No special license required but will be put to front of the line if you have one.

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a mechanic who takes pride in their work and enjoys working on and operating modern, well-maintained equipment.

Duties include:

Maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of agricultural and heavy equipment

Preventative maintenance and in-season repairs

Winter snow equipment prep and servicing

Operating equipment during winter snow events (cabbed, heated, modern machines)

Working alongside a professional, respectful crew
