Since its formation, MSO Construction reputation has been based on road preservation and highway maintenance. based on time-proven preservation methods and innovative technology, backed by vast technical and financial resources. Responsibilities:
• Sort incoming parts and ready them for pick-up or shipment to technicians, jobs and sand camps
• Create, follow and close both internal and external work orders
o Download open work order reports weekly and close aged work orders
o Close vendor purchase orders and match invoices
o Code invoices for Foreperson’s approval
o Upload all Parts Requisitions to Onbase system
o Review: ensure all comments and costs have been entered into the system before the
job is closed
• Deal with all the vendors coming in and out that refill our stock (hardware, fitting, miscellaneous
shop supplies)
• Inventory charge outs
• Restock parts inventory
• Check fluid inventory (def, coolant, washer fluid, etc), oil, and chemical (aerosols) inventory
• Cycle counts semi annually
• Remove obsolete parts, maintain the parts department, and update the parts stock
• Maintain all shop files
• General clerical duties including photocopying, faxing and mailing
• Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls
• Provide vacation/absence coverage to the Parts Person or Shop Coordinator as required
Requirements:
• 2 years’ experience in office/shop/parts related work
• Maintenance shop experience, an asset
• Ability to meet and exceed deadlines
• Familiar with Microsoft Excel
• JDE Software experience, an asset
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
