Another amazing transformation! The homeowner had someone come & replace her deck between me going to measure & the guys going to paint.
Brenan took the shutters home to prime & spray. Love how this turned out!

We live in THE BEST community!
We ordered this beautiful sign from TRT Laser Designs in Midale & they knocked it out of the park. It looks so sharp, we get so many compliments on it. & it's solar so our name lights up at night!

Then, while trying to plan a new garden bed under it, I didn't want anything super floral. I wanted greenery. (We did the same for our wedding "flowers." I've never been a flowery gal, we did succulents.🌿)
One of the exteriors Brenan was painting, I was marveling at this huge bed of prickly pear cacti! The homeowner said well you liked it so much, & you're gonna have to clear a path to get to the side of the house, why not take a few boxes of it home to plant!
I was over the moon! 😍

I thought, wouldn't it be cool to have some broken terracotta pots in there. Maybe I could asl the rant & rave. Before I could ask, a neighbour down the street called & said "You know what would look great there? Some broken terracotta!" 😂 Great minds! He had sooo many broken planters for me, & I gave him so extra cacti for his garden too.

I heard these cacti only bloom in spring & lots of folks said they've only seen yellow flowers. Well lucky me, it's a colorful July. 🥹

Thank you to the folks in our community that make it so special. I'll always look at this cactus bed & sign & think of our 1st year of Stoppler Painting Co. 🌵

Good sunny Friday morning!🌅
It's gonna be a hot one out there this weekend & I have lots of yard work planned now that we're not getting swamped out!
Speaking of the hot, hot sun & home improvement...
DID YOU KNOW... that if you have vinyl siding on your house, you can't paint it too dark?
Vinyl, dark colors & the hot sun DO NOT mix. 🙅🏼‍♀️
It absorbs too much heat & will warp the siding, kind of like when we have the "BBQ oopsie" too close to the siding.🫣
Although we love a dark exterior 🖤 sometimes we just have to be a little more creative with our vision to keep the integrity of our exterior. Like medium color siding with dark trim (as long as it's a different material) or dark decks or decor.

I know we just got into summer, but we're planning ahead & our exterior window will soon be closing as we're now booking into September. Message us & we can come give you a free estimate asap! 😊
