Sometimes the job comes with a pretty great view.

We’re making progress on this second-storey addition, and we’d be lying if we said we didn’t enjoy the scenery while we work.

There’s something pretty special about taking a home that already means so much to a family and creating the space they need for their next chapter.

A kitchen can change the entire feel of a home — and this one is starting to come together. 🤍

The cabinets are in. The countertops are installed. And suddenly, this custom home is feeling a whole lot more like HOME.

From the layout and storage to the finishes and details, every selection was made with the homeowners’ vision, lifestyle, and budget in mind. Now we get to watch all those choices come together.

There’s still plenty left to do, but this is one of those milestones that makes you stop and appreciate how far the build has come.

✨ Countertops: ✔️
✨ Kitchen: starting to look like the heart of the home

And trust us… you’re going to want to see how this one finishes.

Built to be HOME.

Last weekend was a special one for our J.D. Custom Construction family as we had the opportunity to sponsor and attend two golf tournaments supporting two teams very close to our hearts.

First up was a tournament supporting our daughter’s competitive skipping team — cheering on the athletes who put so much time, dedication and passion into their sport.

Then we headed to another tournament supporting our niece’s travel hockey team, helping give these young athletes the opportunity to continue doing what they love on the ice.

As a family-owned business, supporting the communities we live and work in means a lot to us. We’re proud to support local athletes, families and organizations that give kids opportunities to grow, compete, build friendships and create memories.

We’re grateful to everyone who helped make both events possible and proud that J.D. Custom Construction could play a small part in supporting these teams.

It’s about more than building homes and buildings — it’s about helping build the community around us, too. 💙

Lakefront builds just hit different. 🌊🔨

This custom post-frame garage is taking shape with a full hip roof designed to complement the existing home—not look like an afterthought.

A well-designed roofline does more than look good:

• Blends the new build into the property
• Adds long-term curb appeal
• Creates a clean, high-end finish from every angle

Another project moving forward in Windsor–Essex. Thanks to our clients for trusting us with their vision.

And just like that we’re ready for insulation! We walk through after rough ins and make sure everything is taken care of behind the walls .
